XTAR X2 NEW 14500-26650 fast charger, Li-ION/ Ni-MH/ Ni-CD 2 channels 2A
Innovative fast charger, XTAR X2 NEW is an intelligent device for charging various Li-ION, protected and unprotected 14500/ 14650/ 16340/ 17335/ 17500/ 17670/ 18350/ 18490/ 18500/ 18650/ 18700/ 20700/ 21700/ 22650/ 25500/ 26650, and Ni-MH/ Ni-CD/ AAAA/ AAA/ AA/ A/ SC/ C cells. It can charge protected 20700/ 21700 rechargeable batteries. The large LCD screen shows the voltage, charging current and capacity that has been delivered to the cell. In addition, it automatically recognizes the status of the battery. It can charge, both 1 cell and 2 cells at the same time. Included with the XTAR X2 NEW charger, we receive a power cable. In the new version of the XTAR X2 NEW charger , you can charge protected Li-ION batteries in sizes: 20700 and 21700.
What distinguishes the XTAR X2 NEW charger ?
TC/CC/CV charging algorithm used in the charger, is a charging process for Li-ION cells to ensure good cell condition. It involves charging with the right current and also completing the charge at the right time. TC/CC/CV charging stages, we can divide into:
TC stage: the initial phase of checking and reactivating a cell whose voltage has dropped below 2.9V
CC stage: then the cell is charged with a constant current of 50mA to 500mA (depending on the connected power source).
CV stage: then the charger switches to charging with decreasing current until the cell voltage reaches 4.2V. When the cell voltage reaches 4.2V, charging is complete and the battery is fully charged
With the X2 charger, we can also recharge the batteries, up to full. First, we insert the battery into the charger and wait until its voltage drops below 4.1V. This will occur during the self-discharge process. Batteries with a voltage of 4.1V or higher are treated as charged by the charger. Charging will start when the voltage drops below 4.1V.
Reactivating discharged cells involves inserting the cell into the charger and checking the voltage. With this function, we can check each cell in the appropriate size. When a discharged cell is detected, the charger will attempt to reactivate it. Note that exceeding the minimum voltage on the cell will limit the possibility of reactivating and saving such a battery.
The X2 NEW charger automatically selects the charging rate by measuring the battery's internal resistance.
