XTAR MC1-C charger for Li-ION batteries with USB-C charging input.
Professional processor charger!
XTARMC1 is a charger for Li-ion cells with USB-C charging input. The charger is a smart device for charging various Li-ION cells, protected and unprotected, with sizes: 10440/ 14500/ 14650/ 16340/ 17335/ 17500/ 17670/ 18350/ 18490/ 18500/ 18650/ 18700/ 20700/ 21700/ 22650/ 25500/ 26650 at 3.6V/3.7V nominal voltage. With TC/CC/CV charging algorithm and real-time detection, the charger is an intelligent and safe device. It has an LED indicator, for the charging channel. In addition, it automatically detects the status of the battery. The charger cannot charge protected Li-ION batteries in sizes: 20700 and 21700. It can charge the cells exactly up to 4.2V and automatically stop the process, once the charging is complete. The battery will not be overcharged, which directly affects its life. The charger, along with its built-in USB-C port, is very convenient, even when traveling.
- In the case of high temperature operation, the charger will automatically reduce the charging current to a lower one
- Automatically terminates charging and resumes charging when the voltage drops
- Three-stage processor-controlled TC/CC/CV charging process
- Soft start charging technology ensures longer cell life
- 0V Activation Function can save your "dead" batteries
- Protection against damage: short circuit, thermal, reverse polarity protection
- Does not support protected Li-ION batteries in sizes: 20700 and 21700
- Charging of 26650 batteries with "flat plus" only
- Warranty: 24 months
The XTAR MC1 charger comes with a USB-C cable. For the set you need a power adapter, such as from a phone, or a computer with a free USB port. The minimum power of the charger should be 500mA.
An interesting and safe solution in the MC1 charger is a separately connected power supply. This prevents unnecessary heating of the charged cell. When the set is working, the power supply itself heats up and not the charged cell. As a result, the temperature during charging, can increase on the cell no more than 15°C. This directly affects the life of the battery.
In the MC1 charger, we can also recharge the batteries, up to full. First, we put the battery into the charger and wait until its voltage drops below 4.1V. This will occur during the self-discharge process. Batteries with a voltage of 4.1V or higher are treated as charged by the charger. Charging will start when the voltage drops below 4.1V.
Reactivating discharged cells involves inserting the battery into the charger and checking the voltage. With this function, we can check each cell in the appropriate size. When a discharged cell is detected, the charger will attempt to reactivate it. Note that exceeding the minimum voltage on the cell will limit the possibility of reactivating and saving such a battery.
