The professional diving flashlight XTAR D26 2500 Short uses the latest, top-of-the-line Cree XHP50.2 LED giving a maximum output of 2500lm. The lamp provides a high CRI color rendering index and a color temperature of 6000 kelvin (cold white).... The excellent sealing function provides a diving depth of up to 100 meters. There is a choice of several operating modes: Turbo, High, Medium, Low. Built-in power indicator, keeps you informed about the battery charge status. Adapted to 26650 high-capacity batteries, the flashlight allows for a long diving time. The body, made of surface-anodized aluminum, has a perforated surface with a wear-resistant anodic coating to ensure a good and secure grip. To ensure good electrical contact, the battery contacts are made of antioxidant materials and are additionally gold-plated. Protection against incorrect polarity of the battery, adjustment to stabilize the light output, anti-rolling protection, a lanyard clip and a magnetic switch with mode switching and locking function only emphasize the manufacturer's professional approach to its products. Using a 5200mAh 26650 rechargeable battery for power, we achieved a burn time of 1.66 hours in the most powerful mode - 2500 lumens. Included with the flashlight, we get: the XTAR MC1 Plus charger, the Li-ION 26650 battery, a USB connection cable and a USB power adapter. Switching on and changing light modes, is done with the main button on the body. The magnetic button used, allows you to gently switch between light modes. The flashlight has 4 modes to adjust the strength of the light: Turbo, High, Medium, Low. Built-in LED power indicator, reminds you of the status of the battery, which always helps in diving safety. When the capacity of the cells exceeds 25%, the LED indicator glows green, in the range of 5% - 25%, the indicator glows red, and when the capacity is insufficient, below 5%, it flashes red. There is also a lock function in the switch to avoid accidentally turning on / off the light.
The flashlight is equipped with an anti-reflective mineral glass of thick tempered glass. And with the use of ultra-bright glass, it meets good transmittance conditions, up to 98.5% which allows a maximum luminous intensity of 25360 candelas. The Cree XHP50.2 LED used gives a cold white light with a color temperature of 6000 kelvin. Thanks to the appropriate design of the reflector, the central beam of light has an angle of illumination of 10º and additionally a pleasant diffused side beam.
Notes on proper operation:
- The flashlight is designed for use only under water (submerged). Other use may lead to its overheating and damage.
- The flashlight is equipped with silicone o-ring seals. To keep it tight, before each dive, lubricate them with the supplied TF grease.
