XTAR D28 3600 is a professional underwater flashlight, for cave and wreck diving. It generates light with a beam angle of 8° and provides a maximum range of up to 550 meters, for which the CREE XHP70.2 P4 LED with 3600 lumens is responsible. Thanks to its high color rendering index, you can get extraordinary colors in underwater photos and videos. The excellent sealing function provides a diving depth of up to 100 meters. There is a choice of several operating modes: Turbo, High, Medium and Low. Built-in power indicator, keeps you informed about the battery charge status. The tactical switch with mode-switching function, additionally has a lock against accidental activation. The D28 flashlight is powered by the included 18650 lithium-ion batteries, which are charged using, also included, XTAR's MC4S charger. To ensure good electrical contact, the battery contacts are made of antioxidant materials and are additionally gold-plated. Fully charged cells, allow 150 minutes of run time and in the strongest mode of 3600 lumens. The use of the flashlight is facilitated by a screw-on handle (optional), which provides greater convenience during underwater travel. The holder is available here. Switching on and changing light modes, is done with the main button on the body. The sensory button used, allows you to gently switch between light modes. The flashlight has 4 modes to adjust the strength of the light, appropriate to the situation: Turbo, High, Medium and Low. Built-in LED power indicator, reminds you of the status of the battery. When the capacity of the cell exceeds 30%, the LED indicator glows green; between 1% and 30%, the indicator glows red; and when the capacity is insufficient, below 1%, it flashes red. There is also a lock function in the switch to avoid accidentally turning the light on/off















The flashlight is equipped with an anti-reflective mineral glass of thick tempered glass. And with the use of ultra-bright glass, it meets good transmittance conditions, up to 98.5% which allows a maximum luminous intensity of 75625 candelas. The CREE XHP70.2 P4 LED used generates, cold white light with a color temperature of 7000 kelvin. Thanks to the appropriate design, a beam focus angle of 8° was obtained and this is perfect for diving in caves, wrecks, etc.
 

 

 

Notes on proper operation:

• The flashlight is intended for use only under water (submerged). Other use may lead to its overheating and damage.
• The flashlight is equipped with silicone o-ring seals. To keep it tight, before each dive, lubricate them with the supplied TF grease.
