XTAR SC1-C is a charger for lithium-ion cells with USB-C charging input. The charger can charge one rechargeable lithium-ion cell of sizes: 18650/ 18700/ 20700/ 21700/ 22650/ 25500/ 26650, with a voltage rating of 3.6V/3.7V. With TC/CC/CV charging algorithm and real-time detection, the charger is a smart and safe device. It has an LED indicator, for the charging channel. In addition, it automatically detects the state of the battery. It can charge the cells exactly to 4.2V and automatically stop the process, once the charging is complete. The battery will not be overcharged, which directly affects its life. The charger can charge protected Li-ION batteries in sizes: 20700 and 21700.The device, along with the built-in USB-C port, is very convenient, even when traveling.

The TC/CC/CV charging algorithm used in XTAR's SC1 charger is a charging process for Li-ION cells to ensure good cell condition. It involves charging with the right current and also completing the charge at the right time. TC/CC/CV charging stages, we can divide into:

• TC stage: the initial phase of checking and reactivating a cell whose voltage has dropped below 2.9V
• CC stage: then the cell is charged with a constant current of 50mA to 500mA (depending on the connected power source).
• CV stage: then the charger switches to charging with decreasing current until the cell voltage reaches 4.2V. When the cell voltage reaches 4.2V, charging is complete and the battery is fully charged

Included with the XTAR SC1 charger, you get a USB-C cable. For a full set, you need a power adapter, such as this one, or from a phone with a USB port. The minimum power supply should be 2100mA.

An interesting and safe solution in the XTAR SC1 charger is a separate power supply. This prevents unnecessary heating of the charged cell. When the set is working, the power supply itself heats up and not the charged cell. As a result, the temperature during charging, can increase on the cell no more than 15°C. This directly affects the life of the battery.

On the other hand, the reactivation of "0V", discharged cells involves inserting the cell into the charger and checking the voltage. With this function, we can check each cell in the appropriate size. When a discharged cell is detected, the charger will attempt to reactivate it. Note that exceeding the minimum voltage on the cell will limit the possibility of reactivating and saving such a battery.
