Included with the XTAR MC2S charger, you get a micro-USB cable. For the set, you need a power adapter, such as for your phone, or a computer with a free USB port, such as such. The power supply should be 2.1A.

An interesting and safe solution in the MC2S charger is a separately connected power supply. This prevents unnecessary heating of the charged cell. When the set is working, the power supply itself heats up and not the charged cell. As a result, the temperature during charging, can increase on the cell no more than 15°C. This directly affects the life of the battery.

With the MC2S charger, we can also recharge the batteries to full capacity. First, we put the battery into the charger and wait until its voltage drops below 4.1V. This will occur during the self-discharge process. Batteries with a voltage of 4.1V or higher are treated as charged by the charger. Charging will start when the voltage drops below 4.1V.

On the other hand, reactivating discharged cells involves inserting the cell into the charger and checking the voltage (about 10 minutes). With this function, we can check each cell in the appropriate size. When a discharged cell is detected, the charger will attempt to reactivate it. Note that exceeding the minimum voltage on the cell will limit the possibility of reactivating and saving such a battery.
