Hearing aid batteries

Specialized batteries for hearing aids from Energizer, Rayovac GP or Duracell are Zinc-Air zinc-air cells with a voltage rating of 1.4V. They are distinguished by their miniature dimensions, high capacity relative to volume and generation of a very stable DC voltage at the output.

IMPORTANT: after removing the diaphragm (the protection on the battery), wait about a minute before inserting it into the device so that it can freely aerate.

Alkaline and silver watch batteries

Reliable batteries for watches, calculators and small electronics are silver cells with a voltage rating of 1.55V and alkaline cells that provide an electrical voltage of 1.5V. The price of a silver watch battery is higher than that of an alkaline cell, but such a battery is distinguished by its longer life.

Dry zinc-carbon and zinc-chloride batteries.

Cheap dry batteries are zinc-carbon and zinc-chloride cells. They are distinguished by their low price and are used in devices with low energy consumption (such as toys).
